How long does the treatment take?

Getting a crown or bridge typically requires at least two visits to the dentist.

• First visit: The dentist prepares the affected tooth by removing a small amount of enamel to make room for the crown or bridge. Scans are taken to create a custom fit, and the shade of your natural teeth is noted. A temporary crown or bridge is then fitted to protect the area.
• Second visit: Approximately one to two weeks later, your permanent crown or bridge is carefully fitted and secured in place.
